Renting with roommates can either be the best thing in the world or an absolute dumpster fire of an experience. These two roommates had clearly experienced the latter.

In a video that has become wildly popular on TikTok, two girls are seen packing up their third roommate's stuff while she isn’t at home.

According to the two, they had to take such drastic action after the third roommate had failed to pay rent in three months.

This dramatic revenge however was met with controversy. While some applauded them for taking action, some didn't quite agree.

People were also convinced that their actions were most probably illegal and that the two could get into some serious trouble over their petty revenge.

They also said that if her name was on the lease she could not just be forcibly removed by other tenants and that the two didn’t even have the right to sublet the apartment to someone else.

The OP then responded to these comments saying that they had been kind enough to pack her things in a respectful manner and send them to her parents. They also said that she was given multiple warnings before such drastic action needed to be taken.
