A group of cybercriminals made a bogus website using the names of Dr. Antony Robert Charles, a surgeon, and Bangalore Baptist Hospital, a legitimate hospital.
They utilized them to scam people by offering to exchange their kidneys for cash.

According to Otakukart, they allegedly wanted upfront cash in addition to the registration fee, which ranged from US$320 to US$2540 and had to be deposited at the hospital.
The hospital, which is called Bangalore Baptist Hospital and is situated in Bengaluru, India, has had its reputation somewhat tarnished by the organization.

In response to complaints it had received from scam victims, the hospital in July filed a police report at the Cyber Economic and Narcotics Crime Police Station.
The doctor said: “Few more people have complained that they were cheated by some unknown persons using the hospital’s name.”

He further revealed that people who are willing to sell their kidneys in exchange for cash were still calling the hospital.
