#1 Milan designer created a one of a kind lamp that traps light and shares it later.

Dubbed the 'Trap Light', the cord- and battery-free lamp utilizes special photoluminescent pigments to scavenge "waste energy" from surrounding light sources such as CFL and LED bulbs. At night, the lamp springs to life with a soft, ambient glow.

#3 Waste energy is absorbed from surrounding light sources to power the Trap Light.

#4 More commonly known as photoluminesence, the process employs a substance that is able to absorb energy and then gradually release it as light.

The body of each lamp has been formed using the Murano glass blowing technique.

#5 A thirty minute ‘charge’ of recycled light from a traditional incandescent or LED light bulb provides up to eight hours of clean, green lighting.

Hanging in groups they make a beautiful glowing night time arrangement.

#6 The close, hands-on approach allows the designers to embed photoluminescent pigments directly into the glass body of the lamp with ease.
