A grandfather asked his granddaughter for a sleepover because he was lonely, and she gladly accepted!
Megan Elizabeth since she was a youngster, has had a wonderful bond with her grandparents. Countless days spent in their lovely companionship resulted in many wonderful memories. Unfortunately, things aren't always perfect, as the 92-year-old grandfather has been lonely since the death of his wife a few years ago.
On her TikTok and Instagram accounts, his granddaughter posted a text conversation they had. He'd been feeling under the weather, as evidenced by his weeping on the phone during one of their calls. "I haven't been feeling well and miss you," he texted one night, asking if she'd want to come over for a stay at his place. We can order food and watch a mystery show. Love, grandpa."
Megan shared the messages she and her grandfather had exchanged, stating that he had been lonely and crying on the phone.

She wrote in the caption that his health has been deteriorating, so she takes advantage of each chance she has to see him. She rushed in her car and headed to KFC and a grocery shop to pick up some snacks without further ado.
Her grandpa had some requests: "Could you pick up applesauce? The cinnamon kind. And if you go somewhere with mash potatoes, I would like that because I have no teeth and can only eat soft things. Ha!"
He later added strawberry ice cream to the little list and, honestly, can't blame him! Strawberry ice cream is pretty darn amazing! Especially shared with someone you love, but I digress.
He asked her if she wanted to come over for an overnight, and she excitedly agreed, offering to bring snacks and sweets, which he gladly accepted.

He finished the chat, saying "thank you. You are my favorite granddaughter", adding in a little request for ice cream as well.
Megan laughed that she’s his only granddaughter but, regardless of that little fact.

Megan arrived shortly after with KFC, applesauce, and ice cream for them to eat while watching a murder mystery show.
She arrived carrying gifts of everything he'd requested, and they spent the evening enjoying the ice cream and, more importantly, each other's company. Before going tonight, they watched her grandfather's favorite black-and-white mystery show.

Grandpa led her to her bedroom after the show, which he had fixed up in the same manner as when she was a child.
Grandpa made sure Megan had a glass of water by her bed just in case she got thirsty. She noticed that “he made my bed how he used to make it when I was little with my favorite doll of my grandma’s (rest in peace).

He also handed her a flashlight in case she became scared; the video ends with Megan exclaiming, "I love my grandpa so much"
The video finished with her laying in bed, getting emotional, the captions saying: “Staying here brings back so many good memories from my childhood. I love my grandpa so much!”

A follow-up video came soon after, with her in the car, the caption stating: “I had to work at 5:30AM and he got up to wave goodbye to me and wish me a good day.” If that’s not pure love, I don’t know what is.
