Meet 17-year-old Anthony Garguila's grandparents Fran, 74, and Ed, 76. They've been married 52 years and they wear matching outfits every single day.

Anthony, a singer from New York, shared a series of photos of the couple, in their coordinating colours, on Twitter yesterday, writing: ‘My grandparents have been married for 52 years and they match outfits every day.'

Their pictures have been shared and liked over 100,000 times.

They've also made a lot of people emotional.

Talking to CNN, Anthony clarified that Ed and Fran haven't actually worn matching outfits for their entire 52-year marriage it started when they took up square dancing ‘several years ago' and decided to match their colours when they danced. It became a thing and now they do it every day.

‘I wake up to text messages saying, "Good morning! We hope you have a good day!" along with the "outfit of the day",' their grandson explained.

‘It's the cutest thing ever'.

It really is.

As is this picture of the moment Anthony called them yesterday morning to let them know they'd gone viral (note the matching red tops).

Ed and Fran even wore matching outfits when they renewed their wedding vows two years ago.

They are the ultimate relationship goals.

Now we just have to get the other half to agree.
