#2 The father of a young woman who died of a heroin overdose has written a heart-breakingly honest obituary highlighting his daughter's terrible addiction. Molly Parks, 24, was said to have been found in the bathroom of the pizza restaurant she worked in with a needle still in her arm and had struggled with drug problems for several years.

Molly Parks, 24, the daughter of Tom Parks, was found in the restroom at her workplace, dead, with a needle still stuck in her arm. The young woman had died of a heroin overdose, and her heartbroken father wrote a brutally honest obituary in honor of his child, hoping to help others who may be currently fighting battles similar to those of Molly.

Although his daughter had battled drug addiction for years, Parks said that Molly had recently exhibited signs that she was turning her life around. After three rounds of rehabilitation last year, the young woman had gotten a job delivering pizzas. She was working more than 50 hours a week, Parks says, and certainly appeared to be getting her life in order.

Days later, her dad, Tom Parks, penned a brutally frank obituary for his daughter, hoping that it would help other families who are dealing with a loved ones' addiction.

"She enjoyed theater, fashion, reading especially Harry Potter, and will always be remembered for fearless personality and her trademark red lipstick," he wrote.

She has also tried rehab on three different occasions and despite her troubles, she was still a "fearless" character whose hobbies included theatre, fashion and reading.

The weekend before her death she had gone to stay with her mother in Maine, and "seemed to be doing well".

Tom said that the reason he wanted to write such a candid obituary was because a lot of families are too embarrassed to admit openly a loved one has died from something as unsavory as drugs and hoped it would act as a warning "to stay on top" of their loved ones.
