The most tricky part of any relationship especially for couples getting married is discussing finances and how the responsibilities will work after marriage.

In the world we live in where men and women are considered equal with equal access to educational opportunities, it is rightly assumed that spouses will divide responsibilities between each other including the financial burden.

However, there are still some people out there who think that men should only be the ones responsible for earning and they don't really believe in dividing financial responsibilities.

An anonymous Mom took to the Reddit platform AITA to share the situation of her eldest daughter and her fiance. Mom says that her daughter's fiance expects her to work and contribute to the family financially on equal terms considering the fact that they both have the same educational degree.

However, mom scolds her future son-in-law for expecting his wife to work and pay, imagining that the daughter already has so much to do with planning her dream wedding.

Following this, the fiance and his family are upset with the girl and her mom and have decided to call off the wedding. The girl now blames her mom for giving her terrible advice.

Now, the mom asks if she is the bad person here?

Mom asked and the Reddit delivered

People are quick to point out to the mom that she is YTA in this situation as she not only gave a piece of bad advice to her daughter but also showed an entitled attitude in the whole situation.
