The most important day of your life is meant to be your wedding day. So what happens when nature interrupts your bliss? While a bride was covering her vows with pigeon poo, she was faced with exactly that situation.

When the surprise splat arrived, the bride and groom were enjoying a beachfront wedding on Daytona Beach, Florida.

As a bird swooped above the loving pair and dropped a nasty surprise on the bride's shoulder, it was all recorded on tape by their wedding videographer, who published the clip on TikTok from their account, @chiolafilms.

The videographer captured her being struck with bird excrement, which left her fiance in fits of laughter and hardly able to keep himself together.

Kicking off her speech, she said: “The past year and a half, you have been working so hard to make sure we can build the home of our dreams.”

Her impassioned sentiments were cut short when she was pelted with guano.

"Did I just get s**t on?" she wondered, not knowing what the slimy material on her shoulder was.

While she might not have spotted the humor, her husband couldn't help but laugh.

"I don't know," he said, struggling to keep back his laughs.

He boldly bent over and brushed the bird feces from his soon-to-be wife's shoulder.

It had now dawned on her that the groom was putting bird feces all over her.

She added: “Oh my God. Are you kidding me? Yeah, it s**t on me!”

The groom, who was crimson in the face and couldn't stop laughing, showed no sympathy.

And the congregation was no better, erupting into spasms of laughter as the embarrassing scene unfolded.

Even the guys and bridesmaids couldn't stop themselves from laughing.

The groom said: “It smells. It smells pretty bad!”

Some cultures think that being pooped on by a bird is a good omen, however, this bride may disagree.
