#1 If there's one thing that the classic cartoon Tom & Jerry taught that cats and mice really don't get along.

#2 And sometimes mice hit cats with hammers.

#3 And lure them into backyards with lurking bulldogs.

And gravity is optional.

#4 Cats are supposed to love killing small animals like birds and mice.

They're genetically programmed to be carnivorous killing machines.

#5 If you find a rat in your house then you'll probably expect the cat to go to town on the rodent, right?

#6 Well, that's what this kid thought would happen.

#7 The scene begins as expected.

#8 The master rat catcher whispering confidently ‘’I’m going to kill the rat”, while his faithful sidekick meows menacingly in the background.

#9 At that point they get the chance to work to threaten the rodent from its hiding place.

#10 Suddenly, a squeak.

This rodent won't be threatened!

#11 Clearly, that's a house cat who not only has zero interest in hunting rodents but is about as terrified of them as its owner is.

#12 The pure chaos that ensues will leave you wetting yourself as our rodent catcher

His cowardly cat are exposed as the frauds they are, before exiting the scene in a hilariously undignified manner.
