When you’re in a relationship, you learn to compromise – a lot! You have to deal with a whole lot of rubbish that you probably don’t care for – but that’s life, isn’t it? Although… is it? Sometimes, your significant other does that one thing that makes you say, “Nah I’m out!” What is it for you? When they cheat? Lie? Maybe it’s something more subtle like if she has ugly feet or something weird like that.
Fact is, we all have them – maybe we don’t really know what they are but when someone does something that totally irks you, you’ll know what your deal breaker is.
These 10 guys reveal their relationship deal breakers and they’re brutal. I wish them luck in finding the one.
1. When she doesn’t back you up
If you're out in public with some friends and you are putting your point across about something and she totally goes in the opposite direction of what you're trying to argue.
2. When she flirts with other guys
This is a no-go for men, apparently. Whether it's out and about or via text/call, it's not on at all. I would imagine this was a deal breaker among some women, too.
3. When she neglects you in public
Point is, if you're in a relationship people should know about it. This guy says that if he's seeing a woman, she shouldn't neglect you in public because it looks as though you're single.
4. When she lies
Deal breaker for the entire human race, I'd say. No one like a liar. And when it comes down to it when do you know what is true and what isn't?
5. When she critizises you
A little criticism isn't really a bad thing, per se given the right context but this guy admits that when your girlfriend does it to you, then it's a deal breaker.
6. When she disappears without letting you know
This guy admits that if you have a routine of talking and or seeing your partner every day/week/month whatever and she suddenly falls off the face of the earth for a day or a few days then it's a no-go.
7. When she abuses you
Physically or verbally, this guy does not tolerate a woman who abuses him. Lighten up a bit everyone says things they don't mean sometimes.
8. When she scolds you in public
This guy says that being scolded in public is a deal breaker. He thinks that being treated like an idiot or like a child and for everyone to see is not cool.
9. When she has a substance abuse problem
This guy doesn't appreciate it when his girlfriend likes to drink too much or dabble in some illegal narcotics. All in moderation, he says.
10. When she cheats
Naturally, no one likes to be cheated on but sometimes, for whatever reason, the person stays with the cheater. This guy says that it's a definite deal breaker and that would be the end of the road for him and his lady.
