Woman who was waiting to place her Chipotle order pulled a gun on Chipotle employee because she had to wait too long in line. Police have released footage of the incident in an attempt to track her down.
‘Hangry’ Woman Pulls Gun On Chipotle Employee Who Was Too Slow With Her Order
We all hate waiting in line but no one hates it more than this lady who literally brought a gun to a Chipotle. Not only did she bring it, she wasn’t afraid to brandish it when the employee took too long to take her order.
Security footage was taken by police in an attempt to help identify this woman who really takes ‘hangry’ to a whole new level.
All levity aside, the situation was dangerous and concerning and showed that the woman might be a danger to society if she could not exhibit proper gun discipline in public.
This particular Chipotle in Philadelphia had been facing staff shortages for a while because of which it would often shut its doors early by 5 pm.
People who were waiting for their food were asked to place online orders and collect them at the counter.
The woman who did not agree with these new regulations decided that the best course of action was to pull a gun on underpaid employees.
“I want to speak to the manager,” she said as she pulled the gun.
The quick-thinking cashier then hit the emergency button which notified mall security of the incident.
Another Chipotle employee started taking the woman’s order while security arrived to help keep her calm.
She then says, “If someone doesn’t make my food, I will be back and there will be a problem.”
After this threat, she proceeds to stand where she is and wait for the order after stowing the gun back into her purse.
The staff scrambled to make her order but she was not happy to wait anymore and pulled the gun ut again.
“Somebody better give me my food.”
The staff handed over her order and the woman left the area.
This incident sparked a debate over gun laws and the need for regulating gun ownership.
Polie have now been asking for any information regarding the woman’s identity.
This particular restaurant worker sympathised with the situation but was not surprised by the entitlement.
"As a former restaurant working human, I can attest to this level of entitlement and agro from guests over what amounts to nothing. People pulling out guns now over nothing. Who would want to work directly with the public anymore? This is ruining our country."
"Meanwhile all the promises of gun reform is just an illusion. I'm so sick, tired and angry of those broken promises."
This gun owner too advocated the need for more training and control over guns in public spaces.
"Nawww….we don’t have any gun problems in the USA.
That is 100% sarcasm and I am a gun owner. Federal licensing and mandates for training if you own firearms is something else I advocate."
