#1 The marine mammal was found on a beach in Namibia

Naude Dreyer, a guide with Pelican Point Kayaking, spotted something strange moving in the sand while driving along the beach after a Wednesday morning tour. Dreyer and his client pulled over at Paaltjies Beach for a closer look and realized it was a young dolphin stranded on the shore.

#2 He helped the little guy out

While he's unsure how long it has been there, he wastes no time trying to put it back where it belongs.

#3 Dreyer was quick to act

After seeing a small dolphin washed up on the shore near his business, he walked over and picked it up before gently moving it back into the ocean.

#4 He saved his life

Dreyer said he wasn't optimistic that the dolphin would be able to recover, but he did and swam off happily into the sea.
