Heartbroken Dog Ignored By People At Park Gets What He Deserves From Mom

Meet Axel, a 2-and-a-half-year-old Rottweiler with a massive physique and a massive heart. His love appears to be so great and limitless that he wants to befriend everyone. Approaching people in the park and feeling their loving hands on his head or paws is his favorite activity. His stature, on the other hand, maybe a detriment to his attempts to make friends. 

"This sort of thing happens nearly every time we leave the house," Axel’s mom, Rianna, shared. "People judge him by the way he looks before they even get to know him."

Lately, he was ignored by people at his favorite park while trying to draw their attention and request love.

"[He] wanted to greet everyone with a big smile to say hello to all the people," Rianna said. "He didn’t understand why all the other dogs were getting such a fuss and why no one wanted to stroke him."

As the puppy discovered the disparity in attention, he was disappointed. It broke my heart to see the anguish and loneliness on his face. "He felt really left out, and when he got home, he climbed onto my chest for a cuddle," Rianna said.

Fortunately, he has a wonderful owner who loves and cares for him unconditionally. Rianna shared a photo of her puppy on social media and was overjoyed when many netizens showered Axel with affection.

"He loves everyone he meets and taps people with his needy paws so they hold his hand," Rianna said. "If you let go, he'll put his paw right back in your hand! He is a big, gentle giant whose favorite thing is making people smile, but sometimes he forgets how big he is and I have to remind him he can’t fit on everyone’s lap."

Axel was only 8 weeks old when he was adopted by Rianna. Despite the dog’s size, the owner believes he’s still a puppy who always craves love. "This boy is a cuddle monster," Rianna explained. "He would spend all day snuggled up to me. He also does this funny thing where he wraps one paw around your waist and puts his head on your shoulder to give you a real-life hug!"

When he detects Rianna's unhappiness, Axel, a compassionate and dependable buddy, is eager to offer her his favorite toy or a huge embrace. Whatever visitors in the park say, Rianna knows and appreciates having such a big-hearted partner as Axel.

"Axel changed my life completely," Rianna said. "He is my dream dog and the whole world. He fills me with happiness every day and makes me feel like the luckiest dog mum in the world!"
