In Korea, the traditional Valentine's Day roles are reversed, with women expressing their affection for their men through gifts of chocolate. White Day which happens exactly one month later gives the men a chance to give back.

The couple sat down at a window-side table in a quiet cafe. But a little while later Soojung's boyfriend unexpectedly stepped out, claiming he would be right back.

#3 Soojung Gets A Mysterious Call

Not long after, Soojung received a mysterious phone call from him, telling her to look at the glass office building outside. All of the sudden, the lights in the building went out.

#4 She Watched The Building Across The Street Wondering What Was Happening

Next, the lights flicked back on but only on one floor. There, dozens of people ran over to the windows facing the cafe. They then began sticking small pieces of paper on the glass.

Soojung curiously looked on from the cafe, confused about what this all meant. She had absolutely no idea what her boyfriend or these strangers in the building were up to.

Soon after, the two floors below also lit up, revealing even more people with little papers. At this point, it looked like they were trying to create some sort of a picture or perhaps attempting to communicate.

The peculiar scene soon caught the attention of pedestrians on the street. They took photos and videos and looked on with intrigue, just as anxious as Soojung to see what the scene would reveal.

As the picture was nearing completion, Soojung was overcome with emotion as she realized what was going on. Tears began to trickle down her face.

#8 It Was A Beautiful Proposal, Three Stories High

The final picture revealed a giant pink heart three stories high on a yellow background. It was made entirely of Post-it notes and lit up by the lights from inside. Within the heart were the words that moved Soojung to tears.

The elaborate picture spelled out "Soojung, will you marry me?" The unnamed Korean man had surely come up with one of the most memorable and creative ways to pop the big question.

When Soojung's boyfriend returned, he was wearing a full suit and carrying flowers. He walked up to her and put one final Post-it note on the window she had been gazing from. It simply asked, "OK?"

He then handed her the flowers and sat down. And as they kissed, the building's lights flashed, with the "cupids" behind the message cheering and waving, in anticipation of Soojung's answer.

The clever proposal took zillions of notes carefully arranged in the right pattern by over 250 people. He had to rent out three floors of the building to make it all come together properly. And while we never get her answer, we're certainly hoping that after that kind of dedication, a girl couldn't refuse.

The groom to be may have gotten the idea from a Colorado man who proposed to his girlfriend in a similar way back in 2013. This guy had covered the walls of their apartment with 8,000 Post-it notes which spelled out "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"
