Don't Stress

Finding the perfect gift for your Valentine can be stressful, but it does not have to be. Women may seem like complicated creatures, but in all honesty, we are really much easier to please than most men think. Yes, there are some women who prefer the grand gestures, however, most of us are easily appeased with the smaller gestures that show your love. You can pair any of these gifts with a card that tells her how you feel, and she will be very happy. The greatest thing about this list is that many of the things won't break the bank.

Candy

There are not many women who do not love chocolate. You probably can catch your girl shoveling it at least once a month, if you know what I mean. Chocolates are always a winner especially when paired up with a card that tells her how you feel. If for some reason you are with a weirdo that does not like chocolates, there are a wide variety of other candies available for this holiday.

Healthier Choices

Maybe your girl is a health nut, watching her weight, or one of those weirdos who doesn't like candies, edible arrangements are a great alternative. I know this one pictured does have some chocolates in it, but they do come in all kinds of varieties that don't have chocolate. They even have some that have fruits shaped like hearts.

Holiday Coffee Mugs

Is your girl an avid coffee or tea drinker? Then a Valentine's Day themed mug would make a perfect gift. You can find a huge variety of these kinds of mugs in your local Hallmark, Walmart, and Target stores. They even have some with super sweet sayings. Take your time and pick her the one you think suits her best.

Gift Cards

Does your girl have a guilty pleasure? For me, it is nail polish. A gift card to her favorite store is always a winner. If she loves makeup and beauty products, like me, you can grab her a gift card to Sephora, Ulta, and Sally Beauty. The best part is they can be used online and in-store, so she can shop at her own leisure.

Stuffed Animals

Stuffed animals are always a sweet gesture. They make us want to snuggle. Just be sure that you are not getting one every single year unless she is a collector, otherwise, she will end up with cluttered shelves of Valentine's bears gathering dust and getting in the way.

Flowers

While roses are pretty much a symbol of Valentine's Day, they do not last long. There are other flower varieties that you can pick up that will last much longer. The best part is they also come in a variety of red and pinks if you want to stick to the theme. Just be sure to ask your florist which flowers will last the longest so you can make an educated purchase.

Slippers and Socks

Most women love fuzzy socks and comfy slippers. During this time of year, you can find a wide variety of Valentine's Day themed items like this. These would pair nicely on a chilly winter morning with one of those Valentine's mugs we talked about earlier.

Jewelry

Jewelry is usually a winner if your girl loves jewelry. These Pandora bracelets make an excellent gift because they are customizable. You can pick out each piece that goes on so that there is meaning behind your gift. The good thing is that they are not nearly as expensive as they used to be when they first came out.

Homemade Gifts

If your budget is really tight, homemade gifts are the way to go. The one pictured is a mason jar with little date night ideas. You could also use this same idea and fill it with little papers that tell the reasons you love your partner on each piece of paper.

There are so many things you can do with a homemade gift. Just remember that Pinterest is your friend if you are in need of ideas. One idea comes to mind, for those handy guys, build her something she has been wanting. For instance, if she has been hinting at picking up a new bookcase, build her one, and strap a big red bow on it.

Romantic Meal

You don't have to take her out to have a romantic meal. Send the kids off to the sitters, light a few candles, and cook her dinner. It does not have to be fancy, but a night of just the two of you by candlelight could lead to some awesome Bom-Chicka-Wow-Wow afterward.
