Unbelievable Moment 6-Year-Old Boy's Dog Saves Him From Attack By Neighbor's Dog

An amazing video showing the moment a man's best friend intervened shows a German Shepherd defending his owner's six-year-old boy from an attack by a neighbor's dog.

Tank the courageous dog was playing with the six-year-old boy outside their Florida house when another dog came.

A black dog was seen racing toward the boy and nearly touching him in the incident's video, while the boy was attempting to flee.

Not having the youngster's devoted friend around could have been disastrous, since the German Shepherd was spotted getting in the way of the boy and the other dog.

Tank stood between the six-year-old youngster and the other dog, protecting him and blocking any approach from the potential attacker.

The tank was able to chase the dog away by positioning himself between the boy and the neighbor's dog so that the neighbor could run over and take the dog.

At the conclusion of the episode, a second dog belonging to the boy's family ran out to join the excitement.

The boy's mother, who was quite appreciative of their German Shepherd for the rescue, ran outside and hurried in to get her son.

She said: "Our neighbor’s dog randomly charged at my son last night & my Tanky saved him from getting mauled or worst."

Later, she praised her dog once more on TikTok, referring to him as "a highly skilled professional home security officer."

People who have seen the video have been tremendously touched by the dog's bravery, saying that Tank "deserves a ribeye for that save" and that the dog protected the youngster "like he was his pup" during the attack.

One person exclaimed, "I'm very proud of that dog," while another commented, "He's earned ALL THE TREATS for being able to assist so quickly."

Tank the German Shepherd was regarded as a "good boy" and a "real one" by everyone.

Others, though, said that the boy had never actually needed to be protected and that the neighbor's dog hadn't really been attempting to attack the boy.

The dog that appeared to make a beeline for the six-year-old was actually "running over to the other dog" to play with it, according to one person, while another agreed and said the dog merely wanted to "play with the boy's dog."

Someone else remarked that it didn't matter if the dog was going to attack or not because it should have been confined by a lead so that it couldn't charge people.
