Highway Rescue Kitten – Then And Now

#1 “This picture was taken the first night I brought her home.”

"While biking with a friend we found this little girl screaming on the side of a busy highway. We took her to the shelter but they didn't have the resources to care for her and warned me that she might not make it because she was so little," said imgur user vexingvixen.

#2 “A few days later and she was still alive. Eating well and growing.”

#3 “I was afraid to name her because I didn’t want to get too attached.”

#4 “About ten days after I found it looked like her ears and face were getting darker like a siamese kitten.”

#5 They couldn’t part with her so adopted her and named her Pixel.

#6 “This was after she finished her first can of kitten food.”

#7 “After four weeks it became clear that her ears and tail were turning a dark grey/black, and her body a light grey, but her nose and feet were staying pure white like a snowshoe.”

#8 They made her very own cat condo.

#9 Pixel is all grown up and even has a kitty friend to share the sink with.

#10 She followed me for days looking at me like this. I sowwy!
