An unnamed woman took to Instagram to share a horrible list of tasks that she had for her in-home helper. The list which she claims took her 45 minutes to write looked like the world’s worst example of too little power going to someone’s head.

She said that her employee was not allowed to use their phone the entire day, except for one hour.

She also said they couldn’t ‘leave the house without permission.’ She also set curfews and sleeping hours for her employee.

Since adults set their own rules and the world still has some common sense left, she started receiving a barrage of comments telling her how heinous her method of dealing with her employee was.

People called her power trip ‘disgusting’.

Here is the full list:

  • "No using of phone during work hours unless we call you"
  • "Do not go out the house without permission"
  • "Do not talk to strangers"
  • "Only use the phone when kids are asleep. *1 hour usage*"
  • "Do not lock your room"
  • "Do not waste electricity or water"
  • "Only stay in the area with a camera when we are not home, unless bathing or doing housework"

Other than these horrible rules, she also shared a video of the list of chores that the employee must do.

  1. "Mop floor"
  2. "Vacuum floor"
  3. "Change bedsheets"
  4. "Wash 2 toilets"
  5. "Cleans windows [illegible]"
  6. "Clean kitchen | laundry room"
  7. "Clean the fridge"
  8. "Pack storeroom"
  9. "Wipe all bedrooms"
  10. "Cooking"

^All of this work was for one woman to do, every day.

She had also told her employees to sleep no later than 10pm and to be up at 7am. While we get the whole arriving on time thing, we’ve never had an employer tell us when we could sleep.

She also had a monthly calendar filled to the brim.

Suffice to say, her methods were highly unpopular.

"Looks more like law rather than rules and regulations."

"She’s a maid not a slave," said another.

"If I were the helper I would just erase the board and quit."
