Statistics have suggested that men are more likely to cheat than women
Private Investigator Shares The Simple Step To Take If You Think Your Partner Is Cheating
When it comes to relationships, having doubts can be tough. A private investigator recently opened up about how to spot red flags if you think your partner might be cheating.
While it may seem like a dramatic move, some people do hire a PI when they start feeling uneasy about their partner’s behavior. These professionals can help uncover the truth by digging deeper into someone’s daily actions and routines.
One of those experts is Don Aviv, who has experience spotting subtle and not-so-subtle signs that something might be off in a relationship. He’s familiar with the kinds of behavior that often show up when someone isn’t being faithful.
"New haircut, new scent or changes in personality." Aviv told Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies during an appearance on 7 News’ The Morning Show. He added: "Are they more argumentative? Less argumentative? Distant? Closer? Just anything that's different than before."
He continued by asking: "Are they coming in early? Are they doing anything differently? Are they acting differently towards you? Are they being very secretive about their phones? Are they hiding things that you normally would have a conversation about?"
Aviv also shared what he believes is the most important thing you can do if you're starting to question your partner's honesty and faithfulness.

So, what’s his advice? It’s actually pretty straightforward—just ask them directly.
But if that doesn’t give you peace of mind, Aviv suggested you could take it a step further. You might consider checking their car or even hiring someone to run what’s known as a loyalty test.
Describing what that kind of test looks like, he explained: "Loyalty testers are very attractive investigators who whose job is to approach you at a bar, at a restaurant and flirt with you to see how whether you would go home with them."
That said, Aviv admitted that this tactic can be a little unfair. He pointed out that it’s tough for anyone to resist when someone very attractive flirts with them out of nowhere.
He also shared that, in his experience, people who cheat tend to stick to familiar patterns. They’ll often take someone new to the same spots they used to visit with a former partner.
"They tend to cheat the same way they dated." he explained. "So if there's a favorite restaurant, flowers, clubs, process in which they wooed you, that's typically how they're going to cheat on you with somebody else."

Dating expert Claire Rénier also weighed in and said there are certain clues that can signal someone is stepping out on their relationship.
She echoed what Aviv said, noting that a noticeable shift in someone’s usual behavior is often a sign that something isn’t quite right.
She explained: "There may be patterns emerging that are different to before. For example, if they're constantly working late, have unexplained absences and are away more frequently without explaining this or talking to you about it, it's worth a chat."
Another thing to keep an eye on is how secretive your partner is with their phone or other devices. If they were open about those things before and now they’re suddenly guarding them, it might be a cause for concern.
