#1 Cats

It's okay to pet them, if they allow it, on their backs and near the hind end, but never, ever try to pet a cat on the belly. Meow.

#2 Dogs

Unlike cats, dogs love, love, love it when you pet or rub their bellies. They're happy with being touched just about anyplace except the tail and feet. Woof!

#3 Bunnies

Oh, they love a nice rub on the smooth back or ears. You can try rubbing their feet for luck, but those little cuties can be stubborn sometimes. They've had too many feet come up missing.

#4 Hedgehogs

Hmmm.. you can give it a try, but be very, very gentle. These little critters can be ornery. But if you are so inclined, make sure you rub with the fur and not against it.

#5 Chinchillas

Pet 'em til your heart's content. These silky smooth sweeties love to be touched and gently petted. And they feel so soft too.

#6 Goldfish

Are you stupid?

#7 Piglets

Aww, so adorable. Pet them all you desire. Make sure to get all the touching in now because in a few months they'll be full grown hogs and you won't get near them, and won't want to. Oink!

#8 Ghost Dogs

If yours lets you pet it, and you do, make sure to take your medication before bedtime. Dummy!

#9 Bears

Don't try to pet it and don't run. Play dead. Grrrr...!

#10 Snakes

I'll ask you again. Are you stupid?

#11 Bugs

#12 Wolverines

No time to even try, this bugger won't stop chasing you so you had better learn to run like hell!

#13 THE Wolverine

If you're lucky, you might get to touch him in the midsection. He likes that, a lot. Be careful of those sharp blades though, he can become irritated easily. Arrgh!
