#1 When you've stretched your previous check as far as you can.

Everyone that has ever lived paycheck to paycheck knows this struggle. You have done all you can to make things last and now you are chowing down on scraps.

#2 When you are dead broke and get a welcome surprise.

There is no better feeling when you're penniless than to find random money you didn't know you had. It just makes your day.

#3 Faking it is easy.

You see something in the store you want so you ask how much it is then you gotta pretend like you thinking hard on whether or not to buy it so that everybody doesn't realize you're broke as hell.

#4 You learn to live without the net.

Running out of data when you're poor is the equivalent of being sent back in time 100 years. You feel lost without the internet. What will you do with all that time?

#5 Better hope somebody realizes you're broke.

There is nothing worse than being with your friends when they are ordering dinner while you're broke. You can't ask them to spot you because you don't know when you will be able to pay them back so you just sit there and suffer.

#6 What's cheap to you isn't cheap to me.

Your friend may not think that under $20 purchase is expensive but when you've got $20 to last you an entire week you're trading in Walmart for Dollar Tree.

#7 Bruh that's not fair.

This is something everyone can agree with. Why should I have to split the dinner bill evenly when you ordered $50 worth of food and I only ordered $10? That's bs.

#8 Oh you think it's cool to not pay me back?

When you're broke and you spot someone money you expect that money to be paid back. Then you see that same person going all over the place on trips and buying stupid stuff. Meanwhile, you sitting at home eating ramen for the 6th night in a row because they won't pay you.

#9 You don't know my struggle.

When you're poor you gotta make sure everyone thinks you're doing just fine when really you're drowning on the inside.

#10 We come full circle.

Payday has come and gone. You have done everything you can and what do you get for it? You end up right back where you started.
