OP, our regretful cheat met someone online and struck up a relationship. The two started hooking up in hotel rooms over the course of a few months.

Problem was, OP had a wife and 3 children back home. His infidelity however met an abrupt end when he saw his wife sitting in the lobby as he returned from his little tryst.

OP's wife decided not to put up with any of it and left him for 8 months.

When they did talk about getting back together, OP's wife decided that the only way to sustain the marriage would be to open it since OP had a tendency to stray beyond the boundaries of traditional marriage.
