A growing number of the world's super rich are preparing for the apocalypse by purchasing 'doomsday bunkers'.
But don't expect the one per cent to slum it out in drab, concrete dwellings as they survive the end of the world - these bunkers feature some of the most lavish layouts imaginable that are designed for the more modern survivalist.
Some people believe the end of days will be at hand sooner rather than later.
Whether it's from climate change, an uncertainty in our political system, or some other issue, people believe we may be living in the end times. The richest among us are preparing, just to be safe.
They aren't building concrete fallout shelters, they're building huge structures underground.
These bunkers have all the creature comforts you'd expect from a mansion, they just so happen to be below ground.
These bunkers are made by a company called Vivos, calling itself the world leader in bunker construction.
These bunkers are nicer than most people's homes. Far from roughing it, these bunkers are extremely comfortable.
These bunkers are located in South Dakota, far from any potential nuclear sites.
There's actually a community of luxury bunkers, so you won't be isolated with just your bunker if the apocalypse happens.
Each bunker has space for up to 20 people.
This can accommodate a large family and some friends comfortably. If you need to repopulate the Earth, those extra people will be vital!
The price for these bunkers, however, is not cheap.
People must pay $25,000 to lease the land for 99 years, then they must pay a $1,000 a year maintenance fee. This is on top of the utilities and furnishings. The total cost should top $200,000 for each bunker.
But if the end really does come, these bunkers will be priceless!
If you're preparing for doomsday, maybe you should put down a deposit on a bunker.
