Instead Of Smoking Medicinal Marijuana - Try Putting It Into Your Recipes. It's Even Better For You.
Medicinal Cannabis
Cannabis has many medicinal uses; nausea - especially for those going through chemo treatments and Aides patients, nerve pain - helps ease the burning in feet for diabetics and pain associated with spinal cord injuries as well as many other types of pain such as people with Multiple Sclerosis and Muscular Dystrophy who deal with spasms. It also helps slow down the affects of Alzheimer's Disease. Lupus, Epilepsy, Anxiety Disorders are on the on going list of uses for medicinal marijuana. However, smoking it is not always the best option, especially for those who have trouble breathing and or use oxygen. Eating it is an alternative option. Here are some recipes that you might enjoy trying through out the week.
Cannaflour
We will start with a few "staple" recipes you will use in many recipes.
Here we start with Cannaflour
Ingredients:
½ cup of finely ground DRY marijuana for every 1 cup of flour.
Coffee grinder or mortar
Directions:
Make sure to pick out every stem and seed from your dry marijuana. The marijuana MUST be dry, otherwise it may allow for mold growth.
Next, grind the marijuana as finely as possible.
Cannabis Cooking Oil
Ingredients:
¼ pound green bud leaves
5 cups of water ( for cooking )
2 cups of water ( for rinsing )
2 cups of olive oil
Kitchen equipment:
Pressure cooker
Grape crusher
Cheese Cloth
Container
Directions:
Mix the green bud leaf, olive oil and 5 cups of water into a pressure cooker and cap it off and cook it for an hour. When it starts boiling turn down the heat to low so the water doesn't cook out as it is the water that keeps the stuff from burning. When the timer goes off at the 60 minute period, take the cooker off the stove. It is now time to extract the liquid.
Place the cheese cloth over the container.
Load the leafy mixture into the crusher and press the liquid out through the connecting tube over the cheese cloth into the container. Liquid will change to a deep green. When done pouring the liquid, take the cheese cloth and close it up over the pulp and gently squeeze out any remaining liquid. You will notice two distinct layers in the container. The water and oil in the liquid mixture has separated: the layer at the bottom is water and the upper layer is oil! The container can then be placed in the fridge and left overnight to solidify.
The following day you find that the mixture has solidified into two different layers. Now we are interested in the upper layer, which is the infused oil. Using a large spoon scoop the frozen oil out into a small container. Make sure you are scooping only the green stuff which is the cannabis cooking oil. Avoid the brown part as that is the water. Then put in back in the freezer after taking out only as much as you want to use. Leaving it out will make it rancid.
Remember to wear gloves throughout the process as you don't want to end up on a high before the job is done! The cannabis cooking oil can be very potent. You can get stoned and you may even have a psychedelic experience!
Be CAUTIOUS and use it in SMALL QUANTITIES since it is very POTENT. FIRST TIME USERS are warned NOT to have a second helping for at least 30 to 45 minutes- do so only after gauging its effect on you! A half cup of cannabis infused olive oil is equivalent to one ounce of marijuana! This oil has versatile qualities. It can be used in cooking, as a pain reliever, as massage oil, or even as a moisturizer! Whatever you use it for, remember it will get you high! So use as little as possible.
Cannabutter
Ingredients:
4oz (115g) Butter or Margarine
1/8oz (3.5g) Cannabis buds/hash OR
1/4oz (7g) Cannabis leaves
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Equipment:
Small saucepan
Wooden spoon
Sieve (optional)
Method:
1. Melt the butter slowly in a pan. Add 1â„8 oz (3.5g) finely ground cannabis, and simmer on a low heat for around 30 minutes. This allows the cannabis to infuse fully into the butter. Take care to keep the heat low, and stir continuously as the butter can burn easily.
2. After 30 minutes, pour the butter into a jug or tub. As you do this, if you want to remove the bud/hash/leaf, you can pass it through a fine sieve. You won't be wasting any "good stuff", since all the THC should have dissolved into the butter, but if you don't mind getting green bits in your teeth, you can just as easily leave it in.
Allow the cannabutter to set for around an hour, or until relatively hard, before using.

Squeeze garlic into the mix and whip until smooth.
Marijuana Hot Wings
Ingredients:
2 pounds of fresh chicken wings
Vegetable oil or cooking oil
Red hot sauce
1 stick or ½ cup of cannabis butter
Ranch dressing
Instructions:
Remove the wing tips and separate the flappers from the chops. Then put the chicken in a bowl and keep it aside to dry.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan or deep fryer to 375°. Make sure not to add so much oil that it over flows when adding the wings. Cook for 12 minutes. Make sure chicken doesn't stick together.
While chicken is cooking, melt the canabutter in the microwave or on the stove. Mix the canabutter and hot sauce in equal parts and mix with a whisk.
When chicken is done take the pieces and put them on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Then place the wings into a large bowl and add enough hot sauce mix to cover the wings and toss to get an even coating.
Serve with some ranch dressing dip on the side.
You can also do an alternative recipe with a small difference which will taste just as good. It is called reverse hot wings. Put some dry mix ranch dressing over the cooked wings then toss them together nicely. Serve them with the marijuana hot sauce on the side.

Rice Crispy Treats
Ingredients:
1 10 oz. bag of marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 12 oz. bag of butterscotch pieces
3 tbsp Cannabis-infused margarine
Directions:
Using a sauce pan on very low heat slowly melt your Cannabis-infused margarine. Too high of a heat will kill the THC. Next add the bag of marshmallows and mix well until margarine and marshmallows are well blended and remove from heat. Quickly add the cereal and stir until evenly mixed through out. Mix in the butterscotch. Press mixture into a greased baking dish and let chill for 45 minutes.
