In an interview conducted before the publication of her next book, Worthy, which is scheduled for release next week, Jada made the announcement.

It occurred almost 20 years after Jada and Will got married in 1997, when Jada was expecting their eldest kid, Jaden.

Jada talked candidly about how she first met Will in Hollywood in an interview with People.

The actor called Jada following his divorce from Sheree Zampino, his first wife, and inquired: “Who are you going out with?”

Will reportedly said this in response to finding out she was single: “Well, you’re going out with me now.”

“Can you believe I fell for that?" Jada said in the interview.

"Will called me up one day and said, ’Hit me when you get to L.A.’ and then ... click. And I was like, ‘Whoa. Okay'. And so when I got to L.A., I called him. I haven't been able to get rid of him since.”

When they first got together, Jada remembered getting depression treatment and taking medicine to support her mental well-being.

Nevertheless, she said that she 'abandoned [her] mental health' when she met Will.

"I was so intoxicated by him and our dynamic. I really felt like I'm cured." She said, adding: "He became the drug."

Following one marriage and two kids, Will and Jada became the center of attention when the actor confronted Chris Rock on stage at the 2022 Oscars for making a joke about his wife.

Will and Jada had been apart for six years at that point, Jada disclosed.

Speaking about their current relationship, Jada stated: “We’re still figuring it out,” she said. "We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got a deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.”

Jada mentioned that her children, including Jaden and Willow, along with Trey, who is shared by Will and Zampino, have shown their support.

“My children, they’re little gurus. They’ve taught me a deep sense of self-acceptance," she said.

“They love every part of me. The level of love, unconditional love that they have for me and their dad. And it's one thing to want to be the person that gives that unconditional love. And then there's, to be the recipient of that.”

As Jada Pinkett Smith's book "Worthy" prepares for its release, the world eagerly awaits more insights into her experiences and her journey toward self-discovery and acceptance.
