Jason Momoa, known for his role in "Aquaman," recently shared with Entertainment Tonight that he's been living 'on the road' after his separation from Lisa Bonet.
The actor shared that he doesn’t have a home and is constantly on the move, often surprising fans by appearing in unexpected small towns.
Momoa and Bonet made headlines in 2022 when they announced their decision to part ways in marriage.
They released a joint statement on Instagram, expressing their intent to continue their lives with "dignity and honesty."
“We share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage.”
“We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”
Following the quick settlement of their divorce, as reported by Today, Momoa has embraced a life without a fixed address.
The 44-year-old told Entertainment Tonight: "Bro, I don't even have a home right now."
"I live on the road. So, I'm down to New Zealand to start Minecraft. I hope everyone loves it."
He added: "I'm always in these weird places."
Momoa's comments reflected his surprise at the reaction of locals when he visits their towns: "You're gonna find me on the road. It happens all the time. They're like, 'What the hell are you doing in our hometown?'"
In addition to his acting, Momoa is involved in an HBO documentary project called "On the Roam," where he travels the country visiting various artisans.
These artisans create unique art pieces from materials like vintage bikes, instruments, and choppers.
The items they craft are eventually auctioned off.
Momoa expressed his enjoyment for this journey, enjoying the process of immersing himself with everyday people and indulging his passion for filmmaking.
He said: "It's very much my passion for handcrafted artisans."
"The things that I truly love, wanting to honor the people who inspire me, and then wanting to make stuff that's really cool for charity, so that they can, you know, bring all this kind of attention to these artisans.
As he gears up for the HBO Max premiere of "On the Roam" on January 18, Momoa plans to use Instagram to promote the auction of the unique items crafted in the series, aiming to "spread some love" and bring attention to the talented artisans he encounters.
"So, when people see the show, I'll jump on Instagram and try to get going so we can auction off a lot of these cool things and spread some love."
