Jenna Dewan has made a bold request for 50 percent of Channing Tatum's earnings from the Magic Mike franchise as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings.

Dewan has accused her ex, Tatum, of attempting to 'blur the lines' concerning her rightful share of the profits from the Magic Mike series.

This claim continues to be a sticking point as their divorce slowly progresses.

A court document dated May 8 indicates that Dewan's attorneys are pushing for a separate trial specifically to determine how much of the Magic Mike earnings she deserves.

Once this issue is resolved in court, the proceedings can then focus on dividing the rest of the couple’s assets.

Magic Mike, which debuted as a blockbuster hit in 2012, led to several sequels, a spin-off reality TV show, and even a live show in Las Vegas.

Tatum not only starred in but also produced the film, making it one of his most recognized roles.

However, Dewan's legal team argues that since the franchise was launched during their marriage, she is entitled to half of the proceeds.

Their filing describes Magic Mike as a 'story idea,' categorizing it as "an intellectual property asset that was entirely created during the marriage."

Furthermore, they allege that Tatum, 44, secretly 'transferred a portion' of the profits from Magic Mike to a third party without Dewan's knowledge or consent.

Tatum has refuted these accusations.

Dewan's attorneys elaborated: "Jenna contends that Channing, with the participation and assistance of his business manager and other associates, has created a complex web of LLCs, holding companies, and partnerships.

"All of these are calculated to dilute and conceal the value of, and licensing income from, the community property share of Magic Mike intellectual property and derivative assets."

Tatum's legal team is resisting the call for a separate trial to address the financial issues specifically related to Magic Mike.

The actor has also denied allegations that he has obscured the details of how much money Dewan should get from the Magic Mike income.

In a response, Tatum's lawyers stated that he "never denied her share of any community assets or income," and refuted her claims of collusion, describing them as "completely false."

They continued, "She has had complete access to all our financial records for all activities during our marriage and since our separation.

"I continue to provide her with updates regarding Magic Mike financial matters."
