Jennifer Lawrence, known for her candidness, has always been refreshingly open about her experiences in Hollywood.

From her blunt confessions to acknowledging past missteps, she’s never been shy about letting fans in on her life.

This time, the 34-year-old shared a funny behind-the-scenes moment from her time filming Red Sparrow, giving fans a glimpse of what it was like working with director Francis Lawrence.

In the 2018 film, Lawrence plays Dominika Egorova, a ballerina-turned-Russian spy who is forced into using her body as a tool in dangerous situations.

Her character is drawn into this risky world by her manipulative uncle, Ivan Egorov, portrayed by Matthias Schoenaerts.

One of the film’s key moments occurs when Dominika, during her training at the infamous Sparrow School, is told to strip in front of a group to show the influence her body can wield.

This intense scene is a stark reminder of the mental manipulation and dehumanization that her character endures as part of her training.

Reflecting on the experience of filming such a scene in front of the crew, Lawrence explained during a press event:

"The reality of shooting them is so different from watching. With Francis, he's almost a paternal figure to me and the camera guys I've know since I was little."

"It was almost like being in a nude house, like those families who get naked in front of each other. It felt like that. Like, I accidentally flashed the camera guys and they were like, 'Oh my god!'

"You create a sense of privacy. You only have the people that need to be there and that footage only goes to me and the editor — it doesn't go to the studio, it doesn't go to the producers. So they feel protected in that way."

In 2023, Lawrence went even further in the film No Hard Feelings, where she performed her first fully nude scene.

In this movie, she plays a character juggling a bartender job and driving for Uber to make ends meet, all while trying to save her mom’s house from foreclosure.

Things take a turn when her character, without a car, responds to an unusual ad from parents searching for someone to "date" their 19-year-old son.

When asked about this daring role, Lawrence told Variety: "Everyone in my life and my team is doing the right thing and going, 'Are you sure? Are you sure? Are you sure?' I didn't even have a second thought. It was hilarious to me."

Her co-star, Andrew Barth Feldman, also shared his thoughts, saying: "Every situation that these characters end up in, you're laughing your butt off. We became so close instantly that nothing ever felt weird or unsafe. It was entirely professional."
