The idea that the customers need to be entertained no matter how entitled they behave is an absurd and totally ignorant one. It is because of this idea that all the Karens in the world act like they own places and behave as rudely as they want.
However, despite that toxic mindset reinforced by American capitalism every day, there’s nothing stopping fellow customers from setting these obnoxious people straight.

A recent viral TikTok at McDonald's has won the heart of the internet as the video shows a Karen being called out for harassing and berating an employee.
The video was secretly captured by another customer who saw the scene unfolding and picked up after the Karen involved had seemingly been causing drama for a minute already.

“I’m so tired of ignorant people like you coming in here, talking bad about the workers,” a man tells her, as she tries to get him to shut up because whatever vitriol she was spitting hadn’t been directed at him. “That’s why you can’t get workers. Who wants to sit in here and listen to some b—ch talk sh-t to them? Let that man work. That man ain’t causing you no problems; he’s doing the best he can.”

The two continue to banter for a moment, with a man speaking up on behalf of the employee suggesting the Karen that if she doesn't like the place, she can go to Burger King instead.
Rather than agreeing, she pulls a play right out of the standard Karen handbook and escalates to asking if he wants her to call the police. The man tells her outright that he doesn't care and so she turns around to one of the customers behind the counter and asks them to call the police for her.
“You call them!” the man cuts in. “They’re busy!”

The video has been removed from Youtube, but it has been posted on other social media platforms and the internet is living for the way the man aptly puts down Karen for her rude behavior.
