Karen mom decides to complain to the board when she sees notices regarding lost items in school. She believes she is being targeted for demanding the teacher find a lost sticker.
Karen Mom Loses It When Daughter Loses Sticker At Preschool
There's no politics like school mom politics and boy this mom is practically Cersei Lannister.
OP said that her three-year-old daughter had just started preschool and her teacher was a little too direct for her tastes.
Initially, OP started limiting the toys her daughter brought to school because they'd often get lost.
When another lost toy was brought up to the teacher, she said that she would look for it but that there were so many legos in class, that it would be difficult to tell them apart.
On another day, her daughter lost the sticker she had been wearing on her shirt.
This is when OP went to the teacher demanding that she find the sticker. The teacher put her foot down and said that she was not going to track down wayward stickers.
The next time OP went to school, she spotted a few notices taped up on the wall which seemed to be targeting her.
The notices asked for parents to label their children's items and to keep sick children home.
OP felt like these notices were aimed at her and complained to the director about the teacher's behavior.
She wondered whether she had gone too far.
Commenters were surprised how one could possibly create a scene over a sticker.
They also urged OP to put herself in the teacher's shoes and envision the chaotic day she has with 12 children.
For most, the notices were perfectly reasonable.
