Keanu Reeves Seen Playing Catch With Nine-Year-Old Boy Before Concert

Keanu Reeves and a nine-year-old youngster were seen having fun while playing catch.

Yes, the Hollywood star has once again shown that he is a true man of the people.

The Matrix actor made a brief stop and brightened Elijah's day while traveling to Houston for a show with his band, according to KHOU 11.

Reeves is seen playing catch with the resident of Houston on camera between autograph signings.

Annette Cruz, Elijah's grandmother, enjoys meeting celebrities and likens it to "fishing."

The grandma has met a number of celebrities in the last few years, such as Post Malone, Jeremy Renner, and Kevin Hart.

Hence, she decided to try her luck once more and go "fishing" for the John Wick actor as he pulled into the notorious House of Blues.

However, her grandson and the actor had a nice moment this time.

“He like came out, and I didn’t expect his hair to be like a little white," said Caleb, Elijah's older brother.

"I knew his hair was long but I didn’t expect it to be white."

Caleb asked Elijah for his signature before he made the unexpected request.

“And when I got his signature and my brother got his signature, I asked him if he could play catch with me," Elijah said.

“I asked him the first time and he kind of mumbled something. But I didn’t hear him so I asked him again and he said 'Yeah come on let's go.'"

Elijah threw a football with the Parenthood actor for the next thirty seconds, stating that he was thrilled to be playing catch with a "famous superstar."

The two brothers declared that it was an instance they would always cherish.

It's no secret that Reeves has a reputation as one of the kindest performers in Hollywood; he would do everything for his fans, including giving up his subway seat, purchasing motorcycles for crew members, and going on road trips with them.

He's become known as the "internet's boyfriend" thanks to his wholesome persona.

The 58-year-old made news earlier this year when a fan proposed to him as he was watching John Wick: Chapter 4 in advance.

When Reeves disclosed at the conference that he still had Wick's wedding ring and watched the earlier films, a very outspoken fan exclaimed, "I'll marry you!"

The action star answered, "Yeah, be careful what you wish for," in response.
