Stinky, smelly, sweaty feet might just become a thing of the past with this new material created in Japan. And.. feet are just the beginning!
Keep Foot Odor Away With These Unbelievable Amazing Socks!
#1 Turns Out The Secret Is The Toes
A team of Japanese researchers found a way to stop smelly feet by developing a pair of socks made of paper. Researchers at Muse Ricette revealed an important variable in stopping the buildup of bacteria and odor in people's feet, separating the toes!
#2 New Odor Free Socks Are Made Of 1,500 Year Old Technology
Called Curetex, the socks are a pair with individual toes that they claim to be completely 'odor free', bringing an end to the misery of smelly feet.
The Curetex socks are made using Washi fibre, a traditional Japanese paper that has been found to have antiseptic and anti-odor properties. The fiber, has been around for over 1,500 years, and was originally used to make those beautiful Kimono's. But the fiber was very heavy, so researchers invented a new source that is softer and lighter. The new fabric is called curetex yarn.
#3 No More Stinky Feet With These Socks
The company says they have scientific data that proves that people's feet won't smell when wearing these socks. They claim the new socks will bring an end to those people who get embarrassed if their feet smell and your feet will always feel fresh and clean.
#4 Does This Mean We Can Wear Socks For More Than A Day?
The new Curetex socks come in two colors black and dark gray and in sizes 6-8 and 9-11. They also have individual toes, for added comfort. They are priced at $24 a pair. An assortment for women in 3 different colors will be available soon.
#5 Just Where and How Bodily Odors Are Formed
A British chemist has created an infographic (pictured) to pinpoint the chemical compounds and the particular smells they bring to underarm odors and even flatulence, bad breath, and foot odor. And the good news is, the new version of Washi fibre can be used for other garments as well. They are already developing underwear made from the same materials. Goodbye stinky crotch!
#6 Get Ready For No More Stinky Bottoms
The Curetex underwear is already being tested in Japan and Sweden, and the company hopes to bring a great feeling, stink free undergarment to the world within 2 years. Duluth Trading Company, based in the USA, already has an odor free pair of underwear, but they are bulky and heavier than what the Washi fibre will be.
