Kevin Hart and Michael Jordan have a long-running feud.
Kevin Hart Explains Why Michael Jordan Has Avoided Speaking To Him For Years Due To Their Ongoing Feud
Kevin Hart has shared why Michael Jordan has 'had an attitude' and hasn't spoken to him for several years.
Hart, who is 45 years old, is known for his edgy humor. It seems that even one of the greatest basketball players ever isn’t immune to his jokes.
Recently, Hart has also poked fun at Jordan's sons, Jeffrey and Marcus. This likely hasn’t done much to mend their strained relationship.
During his Acting My Age tour, Hart explained why 61-year-old Jordan has apparently been distant for so long.
"Michael's had an attitude with me for years because I hosted a celebrity event for him and he came in late. I saw him coming in late and I hit him with a joke," Hart told his audience at an Atlantic City show on July 21, as reported by the Daily Mail.
He added, "It was quick. It was all in fun. I don't know where it came from. I just hit him with a quick one."
"Michael had an attitude. Hasn't talked to me since," Hart said.
Hart doesn’t seem too upset about the fallout from this encounter.
"I don't give a s***. I couldn't care less. I couldn't f****** care less," the comedian continued.
"I'm at a point in my life where it's very hard to bother me. I'm 45 years old and it's not about the progression of life."
"You get to the point where little things don't matter. I'm not the same person I once was."
In his New Jersey show, Hart also criticized Jordan’s children for not making the most of the 'resources and opportunities' available to them, unlike other celebrity offspring.
Previously, Hart had made jokes about Jordan's fashion sense and facial hair during a 2016 appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show.
"What age do you get to where it’s OK to wear your pants that high, and nobody addresses it?" Hart joked.
During a more recent performance at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Hart claimed Jordan is a 'horrible dresser' and wears 'some of the worst jeans I’ve seen in my life.'
Despite his jokes, Hart admitted to Kimmel that: “He’s still my favorite player though. ‘If I see him again I’m gonna ask him about it. ‘You better lose the ‘tude, Mike.’”
