Kim Kardashian discusses her desire to reconnect with the person she married during her divorce from Kanye West, while Kris Jenner admires her daughter's strength and loving nature in a recent episode of The Kardashians on Hulu.
Kim Kardashian Breaks Down In Tears And Says She'd Do Anything To Get The 'Old Kanye' Back
While going through the divorce process with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian claimed she would do "anything" to get the "person she married" back.
Almost eight years of marriage, during which they welcomed four children together, ended with Kim and Kanye's official separation in November 2022.
Since they were in the public eye, many of the problems they were dealing with at the time were made public, and the most recent episode of The Kardashians on Hulu has revealed even more information.
Even though the show is only now premiering, it was actually shot last year, when Kim and Kanye's divorce proceedings were in full force.
Kim discusses her relationship difficulties with her sister Khloé in an upcoming episode of the show.
Kim breaks down in tears and declares, "I'm not okay," before making a reference to how Kanye's behavior changed after their marriage ended.
“It’s so different than the person that I married,” she says, adding: “That’s who I loved, and that’s who I remember. I’ll do anything to get that person back.”
Along with publicly criticizing Kim's parenting and going after her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson, Kanye displayed unusual behavior after their breakup.
The rapper also used hateful anti-Semitic speech, which cost him brand endorsement deals with companies like Adidas and Balenciaga.
In a clip from a future episode of The Kardashians, Kim confesses that "life is really different" now that she's divorced and that her pals wanted her to "meet someone"—whom she obviously has.
Although she doesn't mention her new partner by name on the broadcast, she affirms that he "so meets the standards."
After nine months of dating, Kim and Davidson broke up, and she later confessed she was still seeking the right person.
“I go back and forth in my feelings sometimes, like who’s ever going to want to date me?" she said on the show afterward.
"I have four kids. I’m in my 40s. Oh, my God, who’s going to want to deal with the drama [sic]? But my person will be like, ‘F**k all of that. It’s going to be hard, but we’re together.’ ... So I’m just waiting for that person.”
In the upcoming episode, Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, commends her daughter for the way she leads her life, saying: "I don't know anyone who could have handled what you... I'm so proud of you every single day... I wish everybody knew how beautiful and delicious your heart was."
The episode provides a glimpse into the emotional journey Kim Kardashian experienced during her divorce from Kanye West. It showcases her vulnerability, determination to rediscover the person she fell in love with, and her search for a supportive partner who can embrace her unique circumstances.
