Some people online are calling the new lollipops “beyond gross.”
Kourtney Kardashian is once again at the center of controversy after unveiling her newest Lemme product — and this one has people talking for all the wrong reasons. The reality star’s latest release has sparked backlash, with many calling the idea “gross” and unnecessary.
This isn’t the first time Kourtney’s wellness brand, Lemme, has made headlines for unusual products. The company has previously offered items like gummies that claim to support vaginal health, a supplement inspired by GLP-1 weight-loss drugs, and even tablets said to “combat cellulite.”
Now, it’s the brand’s latest addition — a new line of lollipops — that’s grabbing everyone’s attention and leaving fans divided.
Say hello to what many are calling “vagina lollipops,” the newest creation from Kourtney’s Lemme Purr collection. The product quickly drew attention online for both its name and suggestive marketing imagery.
In one promotional post, a woman is shown standing with her legs slightly apart while holding one of the yellow, pineapple-flavored lollipops in front of her. The bold visual immediately fueled conversations across social media.
"Your @target run just got a lot sweeter," the caption read.
"Introducing Lemme Purr Probiotic Lollipops Our limited-edition, Target exclusive innovation inspired by our #1 best-seller, Lemme Purr."
"This first-of-its-kind women's health probiotic lollipop is made with highly-researched probiotics, Vitamin C, and real pineapple extract to support feminine self-care and overall wellness.*"
"Launching exclusively at @target tomorrow, both in stores nationwide and online at target.com."
In another promotional image, a woman is shown playfully biting the lollipop, while a small photo of a cat appears in the corner — a clear nod to the product’s name. The cheeky concept, however, didn’t sit well with everyone.
Some users were quick to express their discomfort, with one person writing: "Making candy supplements that won't even survive the digestion process let alone the natural ph of a vagina is beyond gross. Way to be a part of giving women ANOTHER thing to feel self-conscious about instead of actual education and advice on contacting a doctor if you are unsure."
Others chimed in with similar frustration. One comment bluntly read: "Yet another cash grab."
Another added their own criticism, saying: "Your body already knows how to take care of itself. The best thing you can do is let it do its job without celebrity interference."
Interestingly, Kourtney’s sister Kim Kardashian also made headlines earlier this month for releasing an equally eyebrow-raising product through her clothing line, Skims.
For $32, fans can now purchase what’s being described as a “faux hair micro string thong.” The design mimics the look of pubic hair and is available in a variety of “hair colors.” Many found the concept shocking — and, unsurprisingly, the internet had plenty to say about it.
The official product description reads: "Our most daring panty yet. Hand-made in a super sheer, stretch mesh, this string thong features a mix of curly and straight faux hair in twelve different shade variations. Complete with elastic side straps. Fits true to size."
As expected, reactions poured in online, with one user writing: "Why would we buy this when we can all grow our own?"
Another person echoed the disbelief, commenting: "Girl i got this for free? wtf."
