This woman took to Reddit to share her dilemma of how she decided to take her garden with her after her landlord asked her to empty the house. But her action led to an angry spat with the landlord and the landlord accusing the woman of making her house value go down. In response to her post, the internet rallied behind her to support her and pointed that the landlord was trying to exploit her and she did the right thing if the landlord was not compensating her for the hard work she put in the garden all these years.
There are two types of landlords in this world. Either you love them or loathe them and there is no other way to go about it.
This woman took to the AITA community of Reddit to ask if she is in the wrong for having a dramatic fallout with her landlords. The woman shares that she moved to her house a long time back and spent a long time turning a barren backyard into a beautiful garden over the next 7 years of renting the property.
However, things took a bitter turn when she was asked to move out. So the woman did exactly the same. But before moving she packed up her entire garden and took it with her.
But the landlord was not happy with this and created a drama as they were upset that the value of the house went down.

Internet responded to the situation and labeled the OP NTA
Many pointed out that this is the classic example of a landlord taking advantage of the tenants when they make home improvements. People told OP that it is not the tenant's responsibility to worry about house value and if the landlord was genuine he would have asked the price for all the efforts when he asked her to move out.
