Lauren Sánchez has revealed the one thing they never do during their mornings together.
Lauren Sánchez Shares Details About Her Specific Morning Ritual With Jeff Bezos
Lauren Sánchez has shared a glimpse into her morning routine with Jeff Bezos, the Amazon founder and her fiancé.
Sánchez has opened up about their daily lives, explaining what their mornings together are like and revealing one key thing they avoid doing.
Even though Bezos has an astonishing net worth of nearly $190 billion, it’s surprising to learn that their daily routine isn’t all that extravagant.
Bezos started Amazon in 1994, working out of a garage on what began as a virtual bookstore.
By 2005, the company had expanded its offerings to include a variety of products like electronics, videos, and hardware.
While Amazon didn’t initially make any profit, it’s now worth over a trillion dollars. Forbes estimates Bezos's personal net worth at around $204.3 billion.
So, how does a billionaire spend their mornings?
Despite their busy schedules, Bezos and Sánchez try to keep their lives relatively 'normal'.
In an interview with PEOPLE, Sánchez described their mornings: “I make myself a cup of coffee. I make Jeff a cup of coffee, and we kind of have this magic moment where it’s just us talking.”
Interestingly, Bezos does not check his phone right after waking up. Sánchez shared, “He definitely made that rule. It wasn’t me. But the mornings are just us for as long as we can.”
Sánchez also mentioned that they have a pact where the first person to wake up in the morning is responsible for making the first coffee.
They also work out together, and Sánchez has described Bezos as a 'monster in the gym'.
At the end of the day, they always have dinner together as a family.
Sánchez had previously told Vogue that their lives are 'pretty normal', and much of their routine revolves around their children and their schedules.
"Our lives are pretty normal," she had said last year.
"Daily life mostly revolves around our kids."
Bezos has four children with his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, while Sánchez has two kids with her former husband Patrick Whitesell and a son with her ex-partner Tony Gonzalez.
Sánchez’s eldest child, Nikko, 23, mentioned that it’s tough to beat Bezos at chess.
He also added to Vogue about their blended families: "Everyone really just gets along.
"There’s no real alliances. It’s kind of boring in that way."
