After the bride made a snide comment, the lady who claims she was demoted from her maid-of-honor responsibilities at her best friend's wedding says she's delighted she's no longer a part of it.

Lauren released the now-viral video exposing the drama surrounding her friend's June wedding first under the user name lobro15 on TikTok.

She explains why she was excluded from her best friend's wedding in the video, which has received 4.2 million views, after raising some questions about her expensive bachelorette party, which would cost each guest $1,000.

In a recent video detailing the saga, Lauren said that the bridezilla had the bachelorette party, making a sarcastic comparison to the fuss over the decorations' cost.

According to reports, a friend of Lauren's sent her a screenshot from the bride's social media account, which showed her standing between two enormous black balloons that said: "1K," along with the bride's message, “Thankful for my friends who spent 1k+ to be at my Bach” on the image.

“So while I do find this hilarious, I have to say I’m slightly confused because you did switch locations and you did drive somewhere to save money on the flight costs, which was $400 to $500,” she says after showing the photo of the bride.

In an earlier TikTok, Lauren claimed that when the bride told her about the bachelorette plans, she was shocked by the price and decided to conduct an anonymous poll of the other guests to find out how much they were willing to spend, which between $300 and $500.

“[I told her] it might be out of budget where she wants to go,” Lauren explained. “She tells me that if people were her friends, they would be willing to spend this amount of money to spend time with her.”

After a disagreement over the party, the bride allegedly asked Lauren if she wanted to step down as the maid of honor before completely excluding her from the wedding and subsequently blocking her phone number and social media accounts.

Some followers thought the price was excessive, while others insisted that what the bride was requesting was now the average price for most bachelorette parties.

“Bachelorette parties have become so out of hand. Remember when it used to just be a fun night out with friends without a financial commitment,” one user commented.

“To be honest – 1k is the minimum for a bach these days,” claimed another. “I’ve been to & planned multiple, that’s just what it costs for hotel, flights, food anywhere.”

Another person revealed that she had heard yet another terrible bachelorette party story.

“I was invited to a Bach that was going to cost $2k a person,” the user wrote. “MOH booked it all without asking anyone. Set up installments to pay her back. Declined!”
