Man Asks Girlfriend To Leave When She Cries At His Brother's Funeral

Crying is a normal human emotion and some of us cry at the drop of a hat. That's what OP feels like he was dealing with when his girlfriend started crying at his brother's funeral.

OP said that they were overwhelmed by the passing of their brother and didn't trust their own judgment at this time.

He said that his girlfriend was a crier and that whenever she did cry, he would take her aside.

OP then said that with his brother's passing, the family was preparing for a wake. His niece had been crying and her mother had managed to calm her down.

His SIL had asked people not to cry so as to not trigger his niece.

During the wake, however, his girlfriend could not keep her emotions in and ended up crying. His niece also started crying at this point. OP decided to take his girlfriend outside and expressed his anger.

He told her that it wasn't her who had lost a family member and asked her to leave. Since then she has not reached out to him.
