I love my job, usually. I get to write interesting stories, learn new things, and chug on copious amounts of coffee as I type. Sometimes, however, I have to write stories like this which makes me question everything.

A Redditor made a post on the subreddit TIFU (Today I fucked up), where they tried to suck their own penis to disastrous effect.

“Yes. You heard that correct. To clarify, I've done this multiple times and proud to say that each time was a success. Majority of guys can't do that I imagine. I purposely lost 10 kgs just so I can do it more easil,” began the bizarre story.

He then continued to add, “So one day as usual, getting ready to do my thing, I did stretches so I can be more elastic, you know. I was doing my thing untill suddenly I heard a really bad crack in my back.”

The terrifying pop made OP catatonic and unable to move. “At the moment I heard the crack I had an immense pain in all parts of my back. Couldn't stand up, couldn't even move an inch of my body. I literally felt paralyzed. I was just lying on my bed with that pain for like 20 minutes untill I felt like I could move.”

Finally, after some time, OP managed to move. “I stand up barely and force myself to get to the kitches so I can take some pain meds, I took 2 pills of Advil 400mg at the same time. Half an hour goes by I still feel very painful but not as bad as it was.”

Unfortunately, that moment had long-lasting effects. “I've been living with chronic back pain ever since. Whenever someone asks me how I hurt my back I tell them I hurt myself while exercising. I couldn't tell this to anyone up untill now, on Reddit.”

Yet as much as practicality governs that OP does not try that again, his smaller brain seems to be taking over his actions yet again as he wants to attempt the act again.

“I really wanna try that again but I don't think it's the brightest of ideas. I'm potentially gonna have to live with this pain for the rest of my life because of that mistake.”

Luckily, there were commenters that are far more familiar with back injuries and pointed out it might be a herniated disc.

Others had more creative solutions to OPs problems.

This one urged them to go to the doctor.

Commenters felt that it would be a double win since it would not only cure his problems but also provide much-needed entertainment to doctors.

Hilariously, he even shares a moral to this story which I guess you could make use of (please don’t).

“Moral of the story: Watch out for and protect your body even if you think nothing is going to happen.”
