Jay Beech describes himself as a tattooed person with a ginger beard and believes that he can never express himself fully with the traditional CV method and so believes in going with a unique way to find prospective jobs. And his idea has worked well so far as Jay's video for job search has gone viral and so far he has received job offers from multiple companies that now he has to turn down the offer.
This man decided to create a fun creative video for a job application on TikTok and now his idea worked as he got job offers from many companies.
Jay Beech was happy with his marketing job until recently when his company was hit with difficult times. As a result, Jay was told by the company to start looking for work elsewhere.

However, instead of going with the conventional Linkdeln update, recreating his CV, or visiting the job center, Jay decided to be more creative with his idea and time and took a chance by recording a bespoke song and dance about how he wanted another job to the tune of Gloria Gaynor's disco classic 'I Will Survive'.
The weirdest part of this story? This isn't the first time that he's done this. In fact, the last job that he had was the result of another video.
The man decided to give his luck one more go and guess what? It worked.

He explained: "That [the first video] led me to where I am now.
"Unfortunately, the company ran into some financial issues, and they've had to let a bunch of people go.
"Being in the marketing team and one of the newest means that you are - unfortunately - one of the first to drop.
"So, I was made redundant last Monday.
"I knew the success that I had last time, and I also knew that I couldn't come out with something more traditional this time, because people would think it was underwhelming.
"I thought 'what can I do?' - I will survive, right?"
"Let's turn it into something fun, and now two days later I'm interviewing with all the companies and hoping I'm going to get snapped up soon."

The TikTok video went viral not only on TikTok but has been viewed multiple times on Linkedln as well.
Jay continued: "I've had a variety of people reach out, and I've actually at this point started saying no to some of them based on whether it's going to be suitable or not.
"Yesterday I had seven interviews."
"It's a little bit too early [in the process for job offers] but it's likely to happen by the end of this week or beginning of next.
"Last time I was saying yes to everyone because I was in panic mode, but this time I'm trying to value my time a little bit more.
"I'm definitely in a good position now."
Jay is now more confident over his fun way of looking for jobs and says that he is never going back to the boring traditional ways of finding a job.

He explained: "At this point, I've not only set the standard for myself, but I don't think I'm able to translate who I am on traditional CVs.
"I've always struggled with that.
"When I go to work I can't help but bring my entire self."

"I'm tattooed, I've got a big ginger beard, I'm quite out there, I dress quite out there, and I don't want to have to suppress that for 40 hours a week.
"I want to be able to bring that to the workplace as well.
"This is a great way for me to filter out places that won't accept that, and to find the places that would love that.
"I just can't really do that with a CV."
