Be careful who you bully in college because they never forget and should they get a chance for sweet revenge, you bet they're gonna grab it with both hands. That's what happened with OP in this very satisfying story.

For those that don't know ragging is much like hazing and is a common ritual in Asian universities where seniors pick on freshman classes.

What was supposed to be a funny way of welcoming new people soon turned into bullying as the hazing rituals became borderline abusive and humiliating.

Laws were put in place to keep ragging in check but the practice still goes on today.

OP too went through the dreaded ritual and was humiliatingly forced to dance in a lewd manner.

While OP did not think any action would be taken, he made sure to call one of the helplines and file a report.

For 10 years, OP heard nothing of the incident, and no one followed up on the report. That was until someone reached out.

Four people were charged based on OP's report. All four had since left the country as had OP. This meant that OP knew the repercussions if they were officially charged.

OP knew that being officially charged meant they would have to declare criminal activity on their visa forms. This would severely limit their options as companies wouldn't opt to work with people who have been charged with criminal activity, no matter how small the case.

Even if you're innocent, you may find your visa being in the reject pile.

This situation had the four of them shaking in their boots and they reached out to OP. They even offered him money to take back the case but he refused. OP forwarded this information to the police adding bribery to their list of charges.

For OP, this was justice well served, even if it was 10 years too late.

Commenters were overjoyed for OP.

Commenters added that since OP's bullies were in college, they had no excuse and were not young enough to have been forgiven and forgotten about.
