Man Hasn’t Put His Arm Down In 10 Years To Honour His God
In honor of his God, an Indian man hasn't let his arm rest for the past ten years.
The man claims that to get the lord's attention, he intends to keep his arm raised forever.
He must have been the worst student ever for his teachers.
However, the man from an unknown region of India maintains that even while sleeping, his lifted arm doesn't bother him.
He just responds "no" when asked if he, "notices it anymore," adding that he uses his other arm to perform his daily activities.
He claims that his lifted arm is "senseless" and only happens to stay up there by accident.
He also acknowledges that his elevated arm has no strength at all.
People can't help but voice their opinions in the comments section of the video that went popular on Reddit.
One person thought: "The whole point of this is that he has an excuse to avoid doing anything at all."
Someone else quipped: "Yet he's always the first to volunteer."
Others showed admiration for the God-fearing man and commented: "But to even make it that long. I couldn’t keep mine up an hour, even if you paid me."
"Must have been difficult at the start though goddamn," another added.
Another person joked: "My shoulder gets tired when I brush my teeth."
If you think that's impressive, you should know that Amar Bharati has been raising his hand continuously for more than 45 years and has no intention of stopping anytime soon.
The husband and father of three suddenly decided to make a radical lifestyle change and devote his entire life to Shiva, a Hindu deity, while he was employed at a bank in India.
He thought of a way to serve his religious beliefs: he'd raise his hand and never lower it.
"I don’t ask for much. Why do we fight between us, why is there so much hate and enmity between us? I want all Indians to live in peace. I want the whole world to live in peace," he said.
He can permanently damage his nerves and lose circulation if he tries to lower his arm.
