Man Invented The Wheel. Then He Went To Space. Now Behold: The Waffle Cupcake.

Today we truly have evidence that we have progressed as a civilization: someone has invented the waffle cupcake. Conceived by BuzzFeed's food blog, Tasty, this easy recipe uses the same batter for both cupcake and waffle.

RECIPE-

Make box yellow cake mix according to the instructions (or any cake batter). Fill cupcake wrappers about halfway; you want the cupcakes to reach the top of the wrapper when baked but not too far above it. Leave some batter for later. Bake cupcakes as normal.

Pour a small amount of batter on a hot waffle iron. Dip a cupcake in batter and place face down on the batter on the waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Cover in in syrup and eat immediately.
