Danny Roderique of Phoenix, Arizona was waiting to fly home to his girlfriend when his flight was suddenly cancelled. Not only was his flight cancelled, but 900 others were at O’Hare Airport in Chicago. While this absolutely sucks for everyone involved, it was especially devastating for Danny as he had just bought a ring and was planning on proposing as soon as he saw his girlfriend.

#3 Danny had the ring with him and after being stranded in the airport for over 50 hours, he just couldn’t take the suspense anymore. So, he decided to pull out his phone and propose in somewhat of an unconventional way by sending this text:
#4 Though this may not be what most would consider a conventional way of proposing, Danny’s now-fiance, Heather, showed no signs of disappointment. According to ABC news, Heather soon replied, ““OMG!!!!!! You serious?!?!? Baby YES!!!!! I’m balling my eyes out right now. OMG!”
