A man remembered what it was like when he almost died for 20 minutes and had a beautiful experience of going to heaven. The terrifying ordeal was anything but though for Scott, who had a 'magnificent' and 'peaceful' experience he'll remember until the day he dies - again.
Man Revels What It Was Like When He Died For 20 Minutes And How It Changed His Life Forever
A man who experienced death for 20 minutes shared his extraordinary story, and it's uncertain whether even Aldous Huxley himself could have imagined something as surreal.
Scott Drummond, currently in his late sixties, was merely 28 years old when he dislocated his thumb in a skiing mishap and had to undergo a standard surgery to repair the injury.
One of the nurses in the operating room made a mistake with Drummond's surgical tourniquet. He vividly remembered her shouting, "I killed him!" as she hurriedly left the room.
Speaking to Prioritise Your Life, Drummond recounted that the next thing he could recall was a peculiar sensation in his arm, and suddenly, he found himself hovering above his own body, looking down at the operating table.
“I watched every stitch that was put into my thumb,” he shared.
Drummond also remembered sensing a presence beside him. Reflecting on the experience, Drummond firmly believes that the entity alongside him was God.
This faceless being then transported Drummond to a meadow adorned with stunning, vibrant flowers.
He explained: “And I remember so vividly, I could never look back, or I was instructed never to look back again, and the next thing I knew, and it was like a twinkling of an eye, I was standing in a field where the person who was with me was right next to me, but I couldn't see them.”
Drummond went on: "I looked over to the left and there was some great big tall trees, and I remember they were the most unusual looking trees, they had a long trunk with leaves up on top, and there were lots of them.”
"Then to the right of that, which would be still to the left of me, was wildflowers, beautiful wildflowers, and they were up about to my waist.”
"And I just remember looking and seeing how beautiful the flowers were, because something that I really enjoy is yard work and gardening and I just remembered the vivid colours were magnificent.”
"The next thing I knew the person that had escorted me there was not there any more and I was by myself, but it was so peaceful."
Once Drummond reached the cloud, "An arm came through... Just came through and I'll never forget it. It was an arm that was strong. It was somebody that had worked in the farming industry, where his arms were big and his hands."
"I reached towards his hand and he said, 'It is not yet your time you have more things yet to do.' He pulled his arm back through and I didn't see it again because of the cloud that was in front of me.
As the arm retracted into the cloud, Drummond was gradually drawn back into his physical body, resting on the operating table.
"At that time, I went back into my body. The doctor said that there was a war going on inside of my body. The war was that I did not want to come back because it was so peaceful."
"I came out to find out I had a paper on my chest and it pronounced me dead for 20 minutes - and I'd been gone. But I was gone in the most peaceful place that I could have ever went."
Following this experience, Drummond stated he ‘knew he had to do better with his life’
So there you go, maybe dying isn't all that bad.
