According to Express. Uk, a local coroner's court has acknowledged that it is currently looking into the alleged event.

On September 5, the staff discovered him dead and contacted the family before taking him to the morgue, but a death certificate was not immediately given.

The patient may have been alive when transferred to the morgue, according to a doctor who confirmed the death the next day.

Business News said that staff informed the physician that Mr. Reid's body had been laid out in the morgue in a comfortable state, wearing a fresh gown, and with his eyes closed.

The body was lying differently than how the nurses had described it, the bag was unzipped, and the eyes were open, the doctor found. In addition, there was blood on the gown.

The doctor told a coroner's court, “I believe the fresh blood from a new skin tear, arm position, and eye signs were inconsistent with a person who was post-mortem on arrival at the morgue.”

Local media reported that the death certificate was created on September 6, but hospital staff later requested that it be backdated to September 5.

According to reports, the doctor has left the hospital, and the facility is now attempting to hide what occurred.

“After receiving notification from a doctor at the Rockingham Hospital of the death of a 55-year-old man, the coroner's court commenced investigating whether the death is a reportable death. The court does not make public any of those investigations,” said a coroner's office spokesperson.

According to Express. Uk, Australia's South Metropolitan Health Service has rejected the notion that Mr. Reid was alive when placed in a body bag and has offered a different interpretation of what the doctor might have seen.
