Josh Sundquist was diagnosed with cancer at age 9 and lost his leg shortly thereafter, but he’s never let that stop him from doing anything.

By thirteen he was cancer-free, and by sixteen, he was ski-racing.

Instead of letting it define him Josh embraces his disability and creates amazing and unique costumes that in all honesty, barely anyone else could pull off.

Each year Josh prepares for the season with a new elaborate costume that reinvents his leg into funny costumes - and this year is no exception.

“I’ve always dealt with the social discomfort of my disability by having a sense of humor,” Sundquist explains.

“But now I’m more comfortable with who I am and what I look like, and I guess with these Halloween costumes you could even say that I celebrate what makes me different. Which may be either weird or refreshing, depending on your perspective.”

He uses his leg to create tickling costumes ranging from a broken gingerbread man to a bouncing Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.

In 2015 he went as an iHop sign. (That actually hopped!). Sundquist is a motivational speaker that’s become famous on social media for his clever, amputation-incorporating Halloween costumes.

Last year he went as Lumiere.

This year the motivational speaker is hopping around town on the 31st dressed as the playful stuffed tiger Tigger from the Winnie the Poo.
