Martha Stewart Praised For Posting 'Thirst Trap' Selfie But People Can't Believe It's Her

Martha Stewart has received praise and surprise for sharing a sultry thirst trap online.

At 82, the actor and entrepreneur shared a selfie on Instagram after a lengthy flight.

Dressed in a low-cut nightgown and making a pout, she amazed her followers with her looks.

On Friday, Martha uploaded the picture, mentioning her eight-hour flight.

The caption read: "After an eight hour plane trip from Westchester to Palm Beach- horrible by the way - we went to bed early and wore my beautiful @sabbiarosa nightgown (linen with robe).

"I didn't look so bad when I got up at least not as bad as I did when I went to bed- it must be the $$$$$outfit!!"

In fact, she looked so stunning that followers started asking questions about the picture.

Some even doubted if it was really Martha in the photo.

One posted: "As if this is Martha."

A second wrote: "Shoot Martha looks fabulous. Although I thought it was someone else earlier."

A third replied: "That doesn't even look like Martha at all."

However, many people were pleasantly surprised by how Martha looked in the selfie.

They took to the comments to express their thoughts her social media post.

One wrote: "Martha chill my man is on this app!!"

A second posted: "Sheesh! Save some sexy for the rest of us Mama!"

A third replied: "It’s the beautiful woman and soul you are! Nothing to do with looks… although, you’re very blessed darlin’! Keep sharing your wisdom and heart, because those are the best of you."

Another said: "Go hot Martha!! Damn you are looking hotter this days ! Good for you!!"

Martha has openly talked about her refusal to dress according to her age, preferring to wear what she likes.

She said, "I don’t think about age," and added, "I think people are more and more and more (fabulous) than they’re ever been in their senior years, and I applaud every one of them."

At 81, she became the oldest person to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Responding to suggestions that her photos are edited or that she's undergone plastic surgery, Martha stated firmly, 

"I’ve had absolutely no plastic surgery whatsoever."

She attributes her appearance to good practices, saying, 

"I have very healthy, good hair. I drink green juice every day."

"I take my vitamins. I eat very healthfully."

Martha also credits her skincare doctors and being cautious about sun exposure. 

"I have very good skin doctors. I’m very careful in the sun."

"I wear hats and I wear sunblock every single day."
