In an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the actress made an appearance and participated in a game of "Plead the Fifth." She was questioned about a 2011 interview in which Shia LaBeouf, her co-star, said they had a romantic relationship.
After talking openly about their 'totally passionate' relationship, Megan Fox, 36, has acknowledged that she was 'in love' with Shia LaBeouf.
They starred together in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and it's now obvious that their relationship off-screen extended beyond the set.
Despite the fact that Fox later went on to have a highly publicized whirlwind relationship with fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, it is obvious that he wasn't the only flame in her life.
The Jennifer's Body actor took part in a game of Plead The Fifth on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. In this game, you can only refuse to answer one of Andy's many queries.
He asked Fox: "How would you characterize your relationship?"
The actor debated whether or not to refuse to answer the question before eventually spilling the beans on what actually transpired between the two when no one was looking.
"I mean, I would confirm that it was romantic," she admitted.
She went on to reveal: "I love him, I have never been really quiet about that, I love him."
In order to learn more, the host followed up by asking if the affair was merely an on-set one that faded out after that.
Fox smiled to herself and said, "Yeah," before confirming that it was a "showmance."
And Fox wasn't the only source who confirmed the details.
LaBeouf said to Details magazine back in 2011:
"Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them."
The Nymphomaniac star added: "I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation.”
"But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen."
Without a doubt, you can.
After the big unveiling, fans couldn't wait to share their thoughts.
One person posted on social media: "I always thought that Shia and Megan were meant for each other."
"Shia and Megan belong together. There I said it," posted another.
A third prophesied: "I wouldn’t be shocked if they get together again one day. I mean it’s prob going to happen again."
A fourth added: "They had great chemistry in the movie. Not surprised they'd probably go for each other in real life."
"It’s not surprising that they had feelings for each other, echoed a final person, ï¸but hey maybe they’ll reconnect in the future."
